Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Monday said that few channels have created wedge between the people of Kashmir and people of India. Mehbooba said: “News channels have been creating a wedge between India and people of Jammu Kashmir due to their anti-Kashmir debates.”
“TV channels are behaving badly to get TRPs. They use Kashmir issue only for TRPs. With your debates our sufferings have increased,” Mehbooba said in the assembly.
She said: “Do you think people of Bihar and Punjab will talk about talking with Pakistan. It is only people of Jammu Kashmir who will talk as we are suffering.”Mehbooba said: “For talking about dialogue with Pakistan, to save lives of people I will be called anti-national tonight. But it doesn’t matter. We will have to talk.”She said war is not an option for both the countries.“These days even talking about talks is like being anti-national. If not talks then what,” Mehbooba questioned.
